Discover the way to make kimchi where you will be guided, step-by-step, in preparing and understanding the process as well as the history and culture of how it has become a national dish for Koreans. We will spend the class mixing brine, chopping vegetables, and finally layering the napa cabbage with the kimchi paste. The class is around two hours long and at the end you will be canning your creation for you to enjoy and share. This class will be led by Chad from Heart N Seoul food truck. $25 ticket includes class and first beverage. Ages 21+. This class will be at Tank Space on 8th (1110 E. Eighth). Join Creative Chaos artist Chelsea René for our next Craft and Beers art workshop on October 16th. This month we’ll be making festive fall and Halloween garlands, a perfect pairing with our new Tanktoberfest! Open to all skill levels, this hands-on session will guide you through using vibrant fall colors, fabric scraps, printmaking, collage, and spooky elements to create your own unique decorations. Gather with friends, unleash your creativity, and take home a festive garland to celebrate the season! Tickets are $40, which includes all materials and your first drink. Ages 21+.
