$5.00Pay-It-Forward - Salu Salo Board
Salu-Salo is the Tagalog word for ‘gathering together to eat’. At Harana Market, it means no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Our Salu-Salo board is a ‘give-and-take’ located near the cashier stand at our shop. It is made up of community offerings (on sticky notes) and facilitates the giving-and-receiving of a hot meal and/or grocery items from Harana Market. These offerings are available by honor system for any community member, no questions asked. If you’d like to use an offering, pull it from the board and present it to the cashier upon checkout. This board is community funded. Thank you to everyone who has paid it forward and helped feed someone in our community.
