Grimm Super Chance Yuzu Gose 4pk 16-oz Cans
Spiked with yuzu juice and dry hopped with Luminosa and Cashmere, Super Chance is a marvelously complex and crushable gose. Pouring a pale yellow with a rocky and lasting white head of foam, the nose entices with tingly citrus-spice. Cascina Tavijn 68 Rosso
Piedmont, Italy 50% Ruché, 50% Barbera Juicy, earthy, rich. Made by rad lady winemaker, Nadia Verrua. Organic grapes are gently pressed, slowly fermented, then aged in a mix of cement, fiberglass and Slavonian oak for about a year before bottling without filtration. Zero sulfur. The label with "68" adorning a yellow fedora perched on two heads honors Nadia's uncle Sisto (root is sei or "six") and her dad Ottavio (root is otto or "eight").

Cascina Tavijn Teresa Ruché Vino Rosso Piemonte 2021
Piedmont, Italy 100% Ruché This wine is named after winemaker Nadia Verrua's mother :) Estate-grown, organic grapes are hand-picked, destemmed, kept whole and gently pressed. Aged for a year in a mix of cement, fiberglass and steel tank before bottling without filtration. Zero sulfur. Aromas of purple fruits and flowers, fresh and dry on the palate.

Château d'Oupia Les Heretiques
Languedoc-Roussillon, France 80% Carignan/20% Grenache Nice complexity, with ripe red and purple berries, some floral aromatics, and well-balanced tannins. 40-year old Carignan, which is carbonically feremented. Grenache is de-stemmed and goes through 3-4 week maceration in concrete tanks. Fermented via selected yeasts, and the two wines are blended and aged in stainless. Light filtration at bottling (non-sterile).

Punset Barbera d'Alba
Piedmont, Italy 100% Barbera Juicy red fruits dominate the nose and the palate. which is bolstered by gentle acidity and a brisk, dry finish. Selected organically grown grapes picked in owned vineyards are harvested by hand. They are gently crushed and left to begin fermentation spontaneously; the must ferments with skin contact at about 25°C. Fermentation and aging process take place in cement tanks. Bottling time is always during warmer times, allowing this wine to showcase its best character.

Vinho Verde, Portugal 50% Avesso, 50% Azal From a small sub area of Baião, a low intervention blend of Avesso and Azal. The Avesso macerates for five months with 10% whole-cluster, while the Azal is directly pressed. Everything is done in stainless steel with half a kilo of ground chestnut flowers added at the pressing of both. Unfiltered.

Craven Pinot Gris
Stellenbosch, South Africa 100% Pinot Gris (skin contact) Like the freakiest little rose, but also not a rose. Notes of grilled watermelon, juicy apple and grapefruit peels. It's such a fun orange wine, easy drinking and unique.

Day Wines Vin de Days L'Orange 2022
Dundee, Oregon 43% Müller Thurgau, 36% Riesling, 14% Gewürztraminer, 7% Pinot gris We so look forward to this wine every year!! Dried mango and apricot, rose, and citrus peel. Vibrant, crisp, and grippy. 12% abv. Fruit is destemmed and co-fermented on skins until dry before being racked and pressed into neutral French oak for four months. Bottled unfined/unfiltered, minimal so2 added.

Domaine de Clovallon Blanc Les Aurieges
Languedoc-Roussilon, France Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, Riesling, Viognier, Roussanne, Petite Arvine (skin contact) This wine is unforgettable. Aromas of apricot, ripe plums and golden apples. A rich, silky texture gives way to ethereal flavors of pear and honey with a crystalline mineral undertone. A bit about the winemakers: Mother & daughter team Catherine and Alix Roque biodynamically farm a small stretch of river valley in the Haute Vallée de L’Orb. In the vineyard, the Roques use fertilizer from their neighbor’s cows along with a mix of valerian and dolomite. In between the rows, the natural grasses are left to grow and Alix is contemplating buying a few sheep to help with the “mowing”. They already employ the help of their chickens. As non-interventionist winemakers, their wines naturally convey their respect for and delight in their land and vineyards.

Calaveras County, California, USA Verdelho, Albariño, Muscat, and Chardonnay (skin contact) Succulent stone fruits on the nose, with hype acidity and some grippy tannins. Beautifully nuanced and irreverently elegant with plenty of aromatic complexity and textural presence.

Franchere For Heaven's Sake Don't Move Here
Willamette Valley, OR 85% Pinot Gris, 15% Grüner Veltliner 10 days of skin contact in an open-topped fermentor. Following a gentle press in a basket press, the wine aged for 7 months in older, used French oak. Winemaker notes: "Looks like something between peach skin and pre-mixed tequila sunrise. For me, fresh saline aromas and rocks are the first things to hit my nose, but there’s also plenty of sliced melon and sweet florals (daffodil?). The flavors also unfold nicely: it’s tangy on the attack, then fleshier at midpalate, with Queen Anne cherry and tangerine mingling with paprika, citrus zest, and a mouthwatering salinity on the finish. The distinctive tannins are fine and already quite resolved."

Castilla La Mancha, Spain 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 50% Verdejo A big, beautiful liter of skin contact wine at a real nice price! If you like Gulp Hablo's white wine (and we do), you're going to LOVE Gulp's Orange. The tannins are balanced by juicy, herbaceous notes, with some black tea and floral aromas. Organic, biodynamic, and delicious.

Oregon, USA 80% Pinot Gris, 15% Riesling, 5% Schönburger A fun dichotomy of soft herbs and hard cherry candy. Juicy and untamed!

Meinklang Weisser Mulatschak
Burgenland, Austria Welschriesling, Pinot Gris, Traminer Notes of honeysuckle, peach, and grapefruit with an underlying yeasty, funky thread. 5-7 days skin contact and 4 months in stainless steel sur lie for beautifully balanced tannins and texture.

Sons of Wine Orange Pet-Nat
Alsace, France 100% Verdejo A fun one, with some dried apricot and fresh plums on the nose and perky acidity on the palate. The winemaker Farid Yahimi buys the grapes from Microbio, a natural winery in Northern Spain, then trucks the grapes to the winemaking facility of Christian Binner in Alsace. There, they are crushed, briefly macerated on the skins and fermented with wild yeasts. Bottled pet-nat style for yeasty, saison-esque flavors and gentle bubbles.

Lemon meringue pie, pickled pineapple, gloriously soft but persistent acidity. Riesling grown on jory and loess soils, hand-harvested then pressed a few hours after the fruit was foot trodden in picking bins. Fermented and aged in neutral oak Burgundy puncheons for 10 months. Bottled at 9g/L (sugar is delicous) unfined and unfiltered 30ppm total sulfur.

Sons of Wine Orange Pet-Nat
Alsace, France 100% Verdejo A fun one, with some dried apricot and fresh plums on the nose and perky acidity on the palate. The winemaker Farid Yahimi buys the grapes from Microbio, a natural winery in Northern Spain, then trucks the grapes to the winemaking facility of Christian Binner in Alsace. There, they are crushed, briefly macerated on the skins and fermented with wild yeasts. Bottled pet-nat style for yeasty, saison-esque flavors and gentle bubbles.

Aperitivo Cappelletti
The Aperitivo Cappelletti, endearingly known to locals as just “Specialino”, may be the oldest style of the classic red bitter still in production. Unlike its larger commercial rivals, Cappelletti is less sweet and has a wonderful drying finish. Additionally, it still uses natural carmine color for a crimson red and retains a vinous texture from its wine base. It offers a vibrant and flavorful profile, complemented by bitter undertones on a traditional wine base. This yields a Negroni or Spritz that is dry and refreshing in the finish. It is made just outside of Trento in Alto Adige by the Cappelletti family, who also produce a number of other exceptional aperitivi and amari.
