5% ABV - Dry, fruity, spicy. Briefly Gorgeous jumps out the glass with bright, lemon-lime candy aromas. Slightly earthy, citric, and complex on the palate, with a refreshing tingle on the finish. Briefly Gorgeous is a 5.0% abv spelt saison, brewed with a blend of green and red Szechuan peppercorns from 50 Hertz Tingly Foods (Washington, DC). We loved the combination of the green’s bold, lemon zest aromas, with the classic, warming, numbing characteristics of the red. We then rounded it out with two types of Asian citrus fruit – Buddha’s hand and yuzu – to add a bright pop of flavor on the finish. Brewed in collaboration with Lost Generation Brewing for Asian and Pacific American Heritage Month. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Chefs Stopping AAPI Hate.

This pre-Prohibition style rye whisky is made from 100% rye grain, sourced locally when available. Aged in new charred white oak casks for a period of around two years, the whisky is smooth, woody, with that full-bodied fruity-nutty grain flavor typical of a Virginia rye whisky.
