Uncut is so rich and sweet with an unbelievably thick mouth feel, the heat and rye spice finish are a welcome addition. It’s like milk with cookies! Nose On the nose we get a decent array of aromas, featuring some peanut, honey, banana and cinnamon with a bit of oak as well. Palate It’s fairly sweet upfront on the palate with caramel, honey roasted peanuts, bananas foster and a touch of funk. Pepper spice kicks up near the mid palate. Finish The finish is medium-long and adds some nice flavor to an already enjoyable array, including hazelnut and amped up cinnamon notes.

Production - Starlight Mizunara is a small-batch, limited release bourbon that's farm-to-bottle. It's made with a blend of mash bills, including a 3-grain mash bill and a 4-grain mash bill. The bourbon is aged for seven years in charred American oak barrels before being finished in Mizunara casks. Mizunara oak, also known as Japanese oak, is native to Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost prefecture. It's one of the rarest and most expensive oaks in the world. Mizunara casks have been a staple of Japanese whisky aging for a long time.
