CAVA: BRUT ROSÉ RUBOR AURORAE
Cherry color that reminds you of the blush that stained the sky at dawn. Crystalline appearance with fine bubbles of good release. Fruity (cherries, raspberries) and sweet aromas. Dry, with a good attack and body. Tonic and balanced structure, good retention and wide end when you taste it.

CAVA: MESTRES 1312
Pale straw yellow in color with visible green highlights and fine, elegant bubbles. A clear reflection of the vintage: delicate finesse with intense aromas of white fruit, flowers and fresh cut herbs. On the palate it is fresh, revealing a great balance of sweetness and acidity. Pleasant and easy to drink.

CAVA: VALLDOLINA BRUT
The Cava VallDolina Reserva Brut Nature is made from the three traditional varieties Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, plus a tiny amount of Chardonnay. The grapes were sourced from estate-owned, organically certified vineyards located in the Garraf mountain range, an area with red clay and limestone soils. After the harvest, this Spanish sparkling wine from bodega Can Tutusaus was vinified and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Secondary fermentation took place inside the bottle. Finally, VallDolina Reserva Brut Nature was aged for 24 months prior to the disgorgement, which was performed manually. Pair this organic Cava with light dishes, semi hard cheeses and cold cuts.

CHAMPAGNE: ANDRE CLOUET 1911
The NV Un jour de 1911... is another 100% Bouzy Pinot Noir with an ancient label design. The shining golden-colored cuvée combines ripeness, complexity and finesse with intensity and elegance on both the nose and palate. It's a powerful and rich yet very fine and balanced Champagne with great freshness and complex length. It is juicy and intense but also highly delicate, and its mineral tension and persistent finish make it a first-class wine for elaborate dishes. A great Champagne, with a label that doesn't give any more detailed information regarding vintages or disgorgement date, but we know it's always a 50/50 blend of three vintages (including one great millésime at least 10 years old) and reserve wines from a solera system. I tasted the wine as a Brut with Clouet's German importer in Bremen. You shouldn't drink it too early, as it would be a waste of its talents.

CHAMPAGNE: ANDRE CLOUET ROSÉ
The NV Brut Rosé No 3 Grand Cru is a pure Bouzy Pinot Noir that gets its beautiful intense onion-skin color from the addition of 8% red wine. The nose is rich and complex but at the same time pure and refined, with a nice chalky layer and vinous fruit intensity. Round and rich but fresh and vital on the pure and elegant palate, this is a full-bodied, pretty intense and persistent rosé to be served with main courses. This rosé is seriously complex and expressive, with grip, tension and a long finish. Remarkable in class and style.

CHAMPAGNE: ANDRE CLOUET SILVER
The Silver Label Brut Nature NV is entirely Pinot Noir (Blanc de Noir) from Bouzy, mostly from the 2010 vintage. While this cuvee has no sugar, it was aged in a ex-Sauternes barrel and aged in bottle for longer than the standard cuvee for additional richness. The nose of this Brut Nature shows a light touch of brioche and cream with buttered pastry, citrus, and a light oxidized apple note. The palate is rounded with stone fruit and a touch of oak followed by a backbone of flinty minerality kept in check by moderate acid. This will pair wonderfully with much that emerges from the sea

CHAMPAGNE: MOUTARD ROSÉ
Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Noir Elaboration: Skin contact method. After harvesting the grapes are placed in wooden vats. Maceration during 4 days and fermentation until a particular density is reached in order to preserve the fruit. Temperature controlled stainless steel vats with cool setting at 45°F. Tasting Notes: “A rosé of pinot noir from the Côte des Bars, this gains its color from a short maceration on the grape skins. The ripeness of the fruit comes through in exotic spices, like Szechuan peppercorns if they could buzz with coolness rather than heat. The red fruit flavor is tight and savory, without even a whisper of sweetness, lasting with gentle, quiet persistence.” – Wine & Spirits

MOSCATO FRIZZANT: MAELI '18
This organic Moscato Giallo (Yellow Muscat) pét-nat comes from the volcanic and chalky hills of Veneto's Luvigliano Hills. After a native ferment (20% in used oak), and some time on skins, this was put into bottle along with some kept must to kick off secondary ferment. Golden apple and peach is crunchy and fresh on the frizzante palate, with a almond grip and honeyed sweetness on the snappy, dry finish.

PET NAT: FIELD RECORDINGS ROSE '22
his wine starts with a bit of cloudiness before settling on the palate with sour orange, dried earth, and apple cider vinegar flavors. Enjoy its crisp finish with fresh salmon sushi, arugula, and other leafy vegetables.

PET NAT: LINDENLAUB JAUNE
Lindenlaub Jaune Pét-Nat is a joyful pét-nat of Auxerrois. Gentle notes of pecan and a long, savory finish. Grown on clay and limestone.

ROSÉ: AQUA PAZZA
"Our crazy water flows from the slopes of the Santa Lucia mountains down the Salinas River, to the Pet Nat revival in Tin City, Paso Robles. We take the water from our backyard and create a delightful, delicious and totally natural bubbly wine. Notes of dried strawberries, apricot preserve, and cerise limon lacroix on the palate."

SPARKLING RIESLING: SHADY LANE '21
Sparkling Riesling is one of the original Shady Lane Cellars wines. To this day it stands out with balanced fruit, spice, toast and mouthfeel.

SPARKLING: CAN SUMOI ANCESTRAL '22
100% Montònega (a high-quality pink-berried clone of Parellada) fermented with indigenous yeasts partially in tank and finished in bottle. The finished wine comes out at bone dryness with 10.2% alcohol and 5.9 atm of pressure. Made with no additives; unfined and unfiltered.

SPARKLING: CHANRION BRUT
Intense and fresh nose of apple, pear, citrus, almond, and white flowers. Balanced and vibrant palate with lively acidity and biscuity creaminess to complement a long, smooth finish. Salty, nutty, or creamy dishes – Caesar salad, fried chicken, calamari, or popcorn with white truffle oil.

SPARKLING: CREMANT ROSÉ BRUT
Salmon pink color; fresh aromas of soft red berries, predominantly strawberry and raspberry. On the palate, round and fruity with hints of peach; the flavors are intense, with lively acidity framed by a well-made structure and delicate bubbles. The finish is smooth, clean and dry.

SPARKLING: REVENTOS '18
Pale yellow colour with fine bubbles that form a good crown. On the nose it has white flower aromas, citrus notes and minerals. Elegant, intense and very refined cava. A cava that will seduce you from the beginning with its very fresh notes of fruit.

FEILD RECORDINGS FREDDO '22
This 100 % Sangiovese wine is 100% from Paso Robles. It clocks in at 11.9% ABV, which would be fine by me for a white wine as far as alcohol levels go. So I’m even more delighted to encounter a red with such a moderate ABV level. And compared to a lot of brawny, pumped-up Tuscan Sangio, the Field Recordings Freddo has significantly noticeable Sangiovese character while housed in a more modest frame. It’s also made via carbonic maceration, a fermentation technique yielding a wonderful fresh fruit pop & a highly gulpable wine.

JOGUET CHINON '22
Fortunately, today, we all know this because many more domaines followed in the footsteps of Tempier and Joguet, collectively raising the reputation of high-quality rosé. Year after year, Domaine Joguet’s Kevin Fontaine produces a rosé from Cabernet Franc that is simultaneously delicate and full of flavor. He achieves this impressive balance by harnessing the juice from directly pressed grapes and guiding it slowly through long fermentations at cooler temperatures in stainless steel tanks, which preserve the wine’s freshness and bright berry notes. It is versatile enough to pair beautifully with roasted squash and Brussels sprouts, fresh goat cheese, or grilled chicken.

LOVE DRUNK '22
Maison Noir Love Drunk is an intoxicating rosé that’s refreshing. It has provocative aromas of strawberry and raspberry; and much like new love, this wine causes lips to pucker and cheeks to blush.

ONA PENEDES '22
The grapes for this 100% Marselan Rosé are hand harvested from Raimon Badell's estate in Alt Penedès, which is located entirely with the national protected area of the Massís del Garraf. The grapes are pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel 3,000-liter vats.

PULLUS '22
An expressive bright and juicy rose has finally arrived from Pullus! Pretty bright salmon color with a pink hue, this wine is bursting with aromas of strawberry rhubarb, raspberry, whipped cream and fresh plums. On the palate, the wine is crisp and mouthwatering with youthful strawberry, watermelon jolly rancher, red berries, and a subtle mineral spritz.

ROZNATO '21
100% Zweigelt rose from the Haloze Hills. Notes of over-ripe strawberries and raspberries with a slight savoury finish. More of a gastronomy rose and will continue to improve with 1-5 years of age.
SHADY LANE PINOT ROSE '22
Our beautiful Pinot Noir was hand harvested and immediately loaded into the press for a sixteen-hourcold soak. The brightly colored juice was then fermented in 100% stainless steel to capture the fresharomas and flavors. Resting on fine lees for several months provides creaminess and texture. This winebrings ripe strawberry, green apple, and hints of fresh orange peel

VICA MINOR CARIGNAN '22
100% Old Vine & Dry Farmed Carignan. Whole cluster pressed and fermented/aged in stainless steel for 7 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. 10ppm s02 added prior to bottling. 375 cases produced. 11% abv

BLEND: FORCE CELEST '22
From granite soils, the grapes are handpicked across three pick dates;. the majority of the grapes were whole bunch pressed to stainless steel with 10% being barrel fermented. 20% stainless ferment on skins for two weeks; aged for seven months on the gross lees prior to racking. Aromas of fresh grass, green melon, and yellow nectarines burst from the glass with subtle notes of cucumber water, honeycomb and a ginger mojito evolving with time. The palate brings a macadamia nut oil profile with intense texture and grip. There is a good bit of acid initially that dissipates leaving a long, persistent and round finish.

BLEND: PETCHALBA '21
Dordogne. Sauvignon Blanc with 4 days of maceration & a bit of direct pressed Semillo, aged 9 months in amphoras. Unfined, unfiltered, with a bit of SO2 at bottling.

BLEND: VINCA MINOR '22
Key lime pie, honeydew, banana, cantaloupe, tarragon, thyme, apricot, crushed lemon, crisp apple, sea shore, wet stone minerality. This wine comes from a small production, husband and wife team. Vinca Minor focuses on old vine grape varietals, organic farming, natural fermentation, never filtering or fining and minimal intervention winemaking.

CHARDONNAY: DOMAINE DE LA DANANTE MACON LAROUCHE '20
Low tanin, medium body, earthy with medium fruit, creamy texture. This explosive Chardonnay is the latest wine to completely upend the conventional wisdom on the wines of the Mâcon. With its dramatic limestone escarpments and its growing list of organic growers, one could argue that the Mâconnais is the most dynamic region in Burgundy right now.

CHARDONNAY: HOUSE OF BROWN
FEMALE, BLACK OWNED Nose: Night blooming jasmine, tropical guava, starfruit, lychee, and key lime with stone fruit undertones. Palate: Juicy yet zesty, lythe and bright with silky, creamy texture. Medium body, lingering finish with hints of honeydew melon, limestone dust, and saline.

CHARDONNAY: LIEB CELLARS
Partially barrel fermented and medium-bodied with notes of citrus, golden apple and a touch of toasted vanilla. Sweetness: Dry Oak: 10 months French

MUSCADET: "CLOS LA CARIZIERE" DOMAINES LANDRON
Fresh tart pear, apricot, green apple with hints of lemon zest. Dry with good acidity and creamy texture.

PICPOUL: SKINNER BLANC '21
Our goal was to craft something crisp and elegant, and 2021 afforded us that opportunity. With stony, resonant floral-fruit tones in the aromatics, hinting at the complexity that is to be found on the palate. This wine is viscous but very lively, full of delightful notes of lychee, white pepper, vanilla and lemon curd. Aromas lychee, white pepper, vanilla, lemon curd

PINOT GRIGIO: PERUSINI '21
This Pinot Grigio is more reminiscent of the Alsace style of Pinot Gris than it is to the greener, lighter Italian style. It's full bodied with a distinctly tropical perfume, including pronounced aromas of banana and passion fruit. With its notable acid structure, it cleanses the palate and has a long enduring finish.

SAUVIGNON BLANC: BIRD '21 (INDIGENOUS OWNED)
Crafted with fruit sourced from a stony, alluvial site in the heart of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, this wine is typically pale and limpid in its youth yet bursting with vibrant, ripe, citrusy aromas and notes of fresh-cut herbs. The palate is focused and concentrated and the lemon-lime citrus favours mingle with fragrant passionfruit. There is an artful balance of richness and fine acidity which makes this wine a perfect accompaniment to the freshest seafood dishes

SAUVIGNON BLANC: DECIBEL '22
The nose shows lemongrass, kaffir lime and red grapefruit… Hints of crisp nectarine, rich nougat and citrus rind evolve on the back of the nose. The palate begins fresh with bright peachy fruit, pineapple and is plusher than expected once it hits the midpalate.

SAUVIGNON BLANC: GITTON '21
Famed for its chalky mineral rich soils, Sancerre produces one of the most highly regarded expressions of Sauvignon Blanc. I crisp notes of Grapefruit peel and gooseberry with a hint of gunsmoke on the finish.

TXAKOLI: MOKOROA '22
It is a white wine with varietal character marked by pale yellow color with clear and bright, lime-green tones. It has intense fruity aromas typical of the variety and reminiscent of peach, apple and fresh grass, and also some floral notes. On the palate the txakoli is fresh, balanced and with a touch of bitterness.

VERMENTINO: TOSACANA '21
Bright and sun-splashed in color, the 2021 Le Colonne Costa Toscana Vermentino IGT evokes halcyon days under the Tuscan sun. Scented with the fresh aromas of green apple, white peach, and juicy citrus, the 2021 Le Colonne Costa Toscana ingratiates itself to the taster long before the very first sip.
RED WINE

BELND: PROJECT K "THE SPN" '21
59% Shiraz, 41% Pinot Noir, Dark cherries rolling around in a vat of spice.vat, Juicy raspberries getting roasted by a shake of cardamom.
BLAUFRANKISCH: SHADY LANES '21
The typical bouquet of Blaufränkisch wines displays profound notes of wild berries or cherries, as well as a powerful acidity characteristic of this grape. Blaufränkisch can yield outstanding wines with dense structure and prominent tannins. The wines are often impetuous in their youth but develop velvety facets when sufficiently mature. Dense wines have very good ageing potential.

BLAUFRANKISH: KOBAL ROOTS '21
Blaufrankisch is a dark ruby-colored wine with an aroma which resembles overripened blackberries, chocolate, black mulberries and dried plums. The harmony of fruity aromas is nicely rounded up with wood characteristics both in scent and in flavor, with a moderately long velvet finish. We recommend allowing the wine to decant for up to 45 minutes before consumption.

BLEND: 17-XI '22
Bright medium red color. Dry red wine, with a complex bouquet mixing the aromas from both the grapes and the oak casks. 35% Grenache, 35% Carignan and 30% Tempranillo from 10 - 45 years old vines, vinified separately. The wine is aged in American oak casks for about 6 months, followed by coupage and then 5 months aging in bottles.

On the nose, this wine reveals an enticing bouquet of fresh citrus fruits, predominantly lemon zest and grapefruit, intermingled with delicate floral notes of acacia and orange blossom. Hints of green apple, pear, and white peach add complexity, while subtle yeasty and brioche undertones provide depth.

BLEND: VINCA MINOR LIGHT RED '22
A glou glou blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Cinsault, and Grenache. Electric light red. Aged for 6 months in neutral oak barrels then moved to stainless steel prior to bottling. Hibiscus tea, tart red fruit and fresh cut herbs.

PINOTAGE: HER '20
Bursting with juice, ripe red berry fruit, elevated by aromatic spicy notes. Contains subtle, velvety tanins.

RED BLEND: BROC CELLARS "LOVE" '21
This wine is a fun, fresh, chillable light red and ready to drink.

RED BLEND: GULP HABLO
sweet tarts, rose petals, juicy fruit, red licorice, thyme, cinnamon, soft tannins, smooth finish. Not sweet, not tart, not dry…it’s just crushable.

SHIRAZ: BOX HEAD '21
Strawberry jam, black cherry, blackberry, and plum were the primary fruit aromas coming out of the glass. There was an intense black pepper note that supported the fruit nicely. I also got just a delightful whiff of vanilla.

SYRAH: SAINT JOSEPH J DENUZIERE '18
This stony, deeply mineral Syrah balances crisp cassis and black-cherry flavors against a deeply earthen core. It's opulent in texture but stately, uplifted by tangs of salt, iron and granite. The finish is framed by soft, easing tannins making it approachable young but it should drink at peak through 2026.

TEMPRANILLO: FABLEIST '22
We included three Tempranillo vineyard sites in this vintage. We made the pick call based on the taste of the fruit: a balance between ripeness, tannin and acidity. Once at the winery, we de-stemmed the fruit 100%. The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeast, and given one pump-over daily during fermentation. We pressed the grapes and sent to barrels after 3 weeks on the skins, allowing malolactic fermentation to occur naturally. The barrels were 15% new American oak and 85% neutral oak.

ZINFANDEL: BROWN ESTATE '21
Aromas of kumquat, exotic spice, wild strawberries, raspberries, and Ranier cherry. Time in glass reveals guava nectar, orange creamsicle, bay laurel, and traces of smoked meat, saddle, and graphite. Medium body, silky mouthfeel, beautifully integrated with an endless finish.

Modales remains one of our favorite Michigan producers, and a great place to visit the next time you’re in Fennville. But what really makes us excited about this wine is that this gorgeous wine label was created by our own Rockford Wine Steward, Mikayla Brown!
