The power lines running like spider webs intersecting in chaos reminded me of power lines that we share with our neighbors The Rice Factory. Shiori and her team have provided us with some of the most unique ingredients and best laughs. This Japanese Style Amber Ale features Kamiakari Rice grown at The Rice Farm in Nagano. We've been working with Shiori and her team for the last 3 years. It's safe to say that our shared business has become intertwined with our friendship. It's totally tubular!!! Mosaic, Amarillo, and Simcoe hops rode this wave all the way to shore. Afterwards they opened juice boxes and ate some fruit salad while the sun sets. The trub dump on this one was insane! What's trub? It's the hops that get dumped post dry hop after fermentation. You could even says it’s totally trubular... Pale Ale - (5.2% alc/vol) Our first conversations of our dreams about building this brewery were spent on a roof top drinking pale ale. Dosed with a healthy amount of Mosaic and Equaknot hop goodness, Pilsner, Vienna, and Caramalt carry notes of sweet biscuit to the palette. This is in remembrance of not putting a ceiling on your wildest dreams.

Czech Amber Lager- (4.7% alc/vol) Czech lagers are a passion project at Hana Koa. This beer pays tribute to another influential woman in Hana Koa’s pursuit of lager, Ruth Kopp. Grandmother to our head brewer, Ruth has a passion for cooking, candy and ice cream. Occasionally her dishes opened the door to Europe. This amber lager is brewed traditionally with Bohemian malts and Czech Saaz hops and best accompanied with a warm plate of chicken paprikash and good people. Also please return my kishka! German Style Helles Lager - (5.2% alc/vol) Northeast of Venice, a special variety of barley flourishes near the coast in Eraclea. The subtle notes of light honey and hay play exceptionally well with the wine like characteristics from the addition of Hallertau Blanc hops. Reminiscent of a crisp Riesling, we were reminded of the wine windows throughout Florence. Originally constructed during the 1500s these windows deliver society much needed libations in times when we cannot gather physically. Take a sip and happy travels friends. Surf Pup is in dedication to our beloved fur babies. We got together with several local animal rescues to help bring care to the homeless dogs of our island. A portion of proceeds are going directly back into helping provide care and resources. We love dogs at Hana Koa and want to continue to make the world a better place for our four legged friends. It’s complexities from year to year, treasured, add to any brewers arsenal. Layered with T90 Citra hop pellets, Citra Cryo, essentially hop kief, and whole cone Citra, the OG, this explosion of awesomeness will melt your face off. Oozing with juicy tangerine and bright lilikoi, the backbone of pure sour diesel makes this the hop of destiny! ⁣

Since Oahu is home to some of the worlds greatest beaches, we decided to embark on an adventure where we explore what type of salt each beach has to offer. In combination with this we also feature some choice fruits to compliment this delicate style of beer. The combination results in a magical weld of crushable beverage. Since Oahu is home to some of the worlds greatest beaches, we decided to embark on an adventure where we explore what type of salt each beach has to offer. In combination with this we also feature some choice fruits to compliment this delicate style of beer. The combination results in a magical weld of crushable beverage. Cortado is equal part espresso to milk and what a combo it is. Sometimes called a Gibraltar, the Cortado is one of the best ways to enjoy coffee. Our friends at Try Coffee make a mean Cortado! We set out to find that perfect balance between coffee and beer in this crushable stout. This beer contains milk sugar.

Hazy IPA- (6.2% alc/vol) Woah dude???!!!! You must have signed a long term lease on that glassy barrel cause you were riding it for days. Get ready to experience the tastiest wave of your life. It's totally tubular!!! Mosaic, Amarillo, and Simcoe hops rode this wave all the way to shore. Afterwards they opened juice boxes and ate some fruit salad while the sun sets. The trub dump on this one was insane! What's trub? It's the hops that get dumped post dry hop after fermentation. You could even says it’s totally trubular...

Peach Pale Ale - (5.5% alc/vol) Whether you like bums or bumming at the beach, Peach bum is a break from the guidelines of what beer needs to be. Bright tones of white peach intertwine with an earthy back drop to bring you right to an orchard. Soft, juicy, and pleasant flavors of peach cobbler and balled green melon grace a gentle wave of honey toast upon taking a sip. That feeling of staring out to the rest of the world encapsulates the spirit of this beer. While we may not be in Georgia, we’re not far from things being peachy.

West Coast IPA - (7.2% alc/vol) Well I don't give a damn about my reputation. You're the one who won't listen to this station. And I'm gonna keep being too much for you cause that's what I'm gonna do. And I don't give a damn that I'm way too hoppy! Sometimes you push the limit on how aggressively hopped an IPA can be while still being approachable. This is not for the faint of heart. It's an album dedicated to Mosaic, Simcoe, Strata, and that fresh cut bud Columbus hop. All the fruit, all the resin, all the time. WE LOVE THESE BEERS! We all just want something that reminds us we got moxie. So don't give a damn about your reputation. Live this life like it's a vacation. Do what you wanna do cause that's what you're gonna do.

Hazy IPA - (6.9% alc/vol) So here’s the thing. The older you get, the harder it is to make friends. In school we’re forced to interact and work is really the only instance that we’re forced to have some form of communication with other people going through the same shit. Being an adult is difficult. It’s not as easy to make friends at this stage. But here’s the other thing. Beer is a catalyst for conversation. Beer has led to many great friendships and ideas that have changed the world. Don’t be afraid to say hi at the bar. You never know who might become your new cheers buddy.

Grapefruit Gose with Sea Salt - To Benefit Local Animal Rescues - (5% alc/vol) Inspired by salty dog slushees, this Gose-style ale has been dosed with an enormously refreshing amount of grapefruit and a dash of sea salt. Surf Pup is in dedication to our beloved fur babies. We got together with several local animal rescues to help bring care to the homeless dogs of our island. A portion of proceeds are going directly back into helping provide care and resources. We love dogs at Hana Koa and want to continue to make the world a better place for our four legged friends.

Hazy IPA - (6.2% alc/vol) Oh it's so glassy and juicy with so much bwahh!!! I trust falled hard into this barrel of hop storm. I'm getting pitted on Mosaic and Rakau. The stoke is HI breh. I can't get over the smooth and chew. It's so easy they call it lemon squeezy, 'cept it's dank! I got so much length on that juice that I almost lost my steeze. Don't try to blaze thru this wave otherwise you're gonna yard sale and lose the farm.

West Coast IPA - (7.2% alc/vol) We did a thing and couldn’t believe the results. Citra has been one of the most influential hops of the modern brewing era. It’s complexities from year to year, treasured, add to any brewers arsenal. Layered with T90 Citra hop pellets, Citra Cryo, essentially hop kief, and whole cone Citra, the OG, this explosion of awesomeness will melt your face off. Oozing with juicy tangerine and bright lilikoi, the backbone of pure sour deisel makes this the hop of destiny!
