Bonito Coffee Roaster’s decaf offering is a distinguished blend of the Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, and Typica varietals. The coffee is grown in the Unión Juárez region of Chiapas in southern Mexico. Upon harvest the coffee is fully washed and then dried in the sun. Before it arrives at Bonito for roasting, the green coffee is processed in Mexico by Royal Coffee to remove the caffeine content. The coffee is soaked in pools of water to expand its pores and to allow a unique solution of concentrated coffee solubles to extract the caffeine. To maintain quality and flavor, the coffee is then redried and bagged before transport. The end result is a delightfully flavorful roast which is very versatile across brewing methods. A single-origin blend of three coffees: washed coffees from Finca Santa Lucila (Nicaragua), a washed Caturra from Finca La Esperanza (Nicaragua), and a naturally processed Caturra from Finca San Rafael (Nicaragua). Espresso Bonito opens with ripe blueberry, before a caramel mid-palate makes way for a milk chocolate finish. The end result is a perfectly balanced medium roast that is a reliable choice for your morning espresso. While the coffees used may change seasonally Espresso Bonito is blended and roasted intentionally to make delicious espresso. We hope you enjoy this flagship blend!

Single-Estate, washed Gesha from a nano-lot on Finca La Portuguesa, San Fernando, Nicaragua. Grown at an elevation of 2,073 meters. This special and rare coffee comes from Mogoton, Nicaragua; the highest point in Nicaragua. Carlos’ friend Rene chose to buy a farm there, thinking that this was the perfect environment to grow this delicate and demanding transcendent coffee. This crop yielded only one bag of green coffee, that's 150 lbs. We feel very honored and humbled to get our hands on this precious coffee. Roaster’s Notes: Guava candy and black tea.
