RETAIL WINE LIST
Chardonnay
A to Z Wineworks Chardonnay 2019, Oregon
$8.99___ The delicately colored 2019 A to Z Oregon Chardonnay has a fresh, lively nose like fresh cut apples and distinct tropical notes (honeydew, kiwi, quince, kumquat, Meyer lemon, pineapple) and undertones of spring flowers, lemongrass and marjoram. The juicy, vibrant palate has a touch of minerality, something like wet stones drizzled with honey, and a natural fruit sweetness building length and presence. Tank aging on lees gives this wine a creamy texture and an interesting, broad mid-palate. Round and rich while maintaining tension and excitement, the impeccably balanced 2019 A to Z Chardonnay reflects another gorgeous Oregon vintage.
Benovia Chardonnay 2020, Russian River Valley
$44.50___ 94 Decanter Winemaker and co-owner Mike Sullivan has produced one of the best-value Russian River Chardonnays on the market. Chardonnay grapes are sourced from Martaella Estate and Zio Tony Ranch, whole cluster pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged 13 months in 34% new French oak. The result is a Chardonnay you just can't put down. Seductively bright aromas of lemon curd, poached pear, and candied ginger mingle with warm baking spices. Round and velvety with superb fruit weight and a dense mineral core that is salty and savoury. Such a dynamic white for the price. 94 Wine Enthusiast Subtle at first but richer with each sip, this deceptively full-bodied wine layers nutmeg, toasted oak and hazelnut nuances between ripe apple and pineapple flavors on a smooth, expansive texture. Excellent depth, good balance and a lingering finish seal the deal. *Editors' Choice 92 Jeb Dunnuck 91 points Wine Spectator
Beringer Private Reserve Chardonnay 2020, Napa Valley
$39.50___ Vinous 91 Points " The 2020 Chardonnay Private Reserve is creamy, open knit and expressive. Lemon confit, spice, vanillin and light tropical notes all grace the 2020. As always, the Private Reserve is done in a richer, creamier style."
Bogle Chardonnay 2021, California
$9.95___ This handcrafted wine makes a first impression of honeycomb and vanilla. The rich entry follows with a silky mouthfeel, surrounded by Asian pears and Honeycrisp apples. The finish lingers long and soft, like the wafting aromas of grandma’s warm apple pie. Silver 88 Points Ca. State Fair
Bogle Reserve Chardonnay 2020, Clarksburg
$24.00___ The cool nighttime harvest preserved these whole Chardonnay clusters that were then lightly pressed to extract their succulent juice, while avoiding skin and seed contact as much as possible. Aromas of spicy nutmeg and freshly baked brioche tantalize the senses, while the fresh, wholesome juiciness of Golden Delicious apples and Bartlett pears shine. The rich and silky mouthfeel, enhanced with hand stirring each barrel twice a month, leaves a decadent finish of brown butter and cream.
Bonterra Chardonnay "The Roost" Blue Heron Vineyard 2020, Mendocino County
$39.50___ Wilford Wong 90 Points The 2020 Bonterra Roost Chardonnay is complex and authentic. This wine shines with aromas and flavors of sandalwood, dried earth, and tart citrus.
Bonterra Chardonnay Estate Collection 2021, Mendocino County
$24.00___ The inaugural vintage of our Estate Chardonnay was crafted predominantly from Ledford Ranch, one or our regenerative organic certified estate vineyards in Mendocino County. The brilliant light green and golden straw hue of our Estate Chardonnay hints at the depth of flavor that unfolds in the glass. The palate is rich and creamy with uplifted acidity on the finish.
Buehler Chardonnay 2019, Russian River Valley
$18.95___ Our 2019 Russian River Chardonnay is born from two vineyards within the Russian River appellation: Wood Vineyard, located on River Rd and River Vineyard, located in the heart of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley on East Side Road. The floral, mineral, and lime aromas and steely structure of the River Vineyard are complemented by the peach and apricot aromas and more fleshy structure of the Wood Vineyard.

Carmenet Chardonnay 2021, California
$12.00___ Carmenet Chardonnay is a lovely straw-colored wine with hints of apple, banana, and vanilla. This opulent and sensual wine finishes with butterscotch and tropical fruit and ends with a smooth, crisp enjoyable finish. This Chardonnay is delicious with seafood, shellfish, pork, cheese and poultry.
Clay Shannon Chardonnay 2018, Red Hills Lake County
$21.50
Colline Aux Fossiles Chardonnay 2019, Roussilon France
$16.95___ All Chardonnay brought up in used demi-muids, the 2019 La Colline Aux Fossiles sports a medium gold hue to go with terrific stone fruits, caramelized citrus, white flowers, and honeysuckle-like aroma and flavors as well as a beautiful sense of minerality that emerges with time in the glass. Medium to full-bodied and beautifully textured, with a layered mouthfeel and a great finish, it's another knockout Chardonnay from the team of Eric Solomon and Jean-Marc Lafage.
Crescere Chardonnay Proprietary 2018, Sonoma Coast
$69.50___ Bright aromas of cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and grilled apples give way to wild mountain thyme with undertones of hazelnut, cinnamon, and nutmeg. On the palate, you find a lovely mouth-coating sensation that carries those flavors through to an underlying earthy note with enough acidity to make you want to return to your glass over and over again.
Dance Chardonnay by Long Shadows 2019, Washington
$41.95___ Wine Enthusiast 93 The aromas intrigue on the nose, with notes of clarified butter, straw, spice and pumpkin. The palate shows depth and breadth to the stone fruit flavors but also sophistication. The balance is exquisite. For those looking for a full-bodied Chardonnay where the oak doesn't steal the show, this is a shining example. Vinous 93 Jeb Dunnuck 92 Robert Parker 91+ Wine Spectator 91
Daou Chardonnay Discovery 2022, Paso Robles
$17.50___ Wine Enthusiast 91 There's a guava character to the nose of this bottling, yet it's cut by a river stone edge. A bright sizzle of acidity and a chalky flesh envelop the palate, with plumeria and more guava flavors at play. Wilfred Wong 90 Points The DAOU Discovery Collection Chardonnay is an excellent wine. This wine excels with aromas and flavors of ripe peach skin, hints of oak, dried earth, and savory spices.
Darioush Chardonnay 2019, Napa Valley
$55.95___ Bright and immensely refreshing, 2019 Chardonnay opens with a burst of citrus and wet stone aromas. Full-bodied yet vivacious, the wine exhibits a sturdy core of lemon curd and Granny Smith apple flavors segueing to beeswax and quince on the mid-palate, complemented by secondary flavors of hazelnut and brioche. A juicy, crisp, and lingering finish leaves an impression of salinity, reminiscent of fresh oysters or nori.
Dehlinger Chardonnay Estate 2019, Russian River Valley
$42.00___ Wine Enthusiast 96 Points Impressive in salty pineapple and an underlying richness of crème brûlée, this wine remains balanced within its luxurious layers, with persistent freshness throughout. Unfiltered, it offers structure, graceful elegance and length, while being cohesive on the finish.
Diatom Chardonnay 2022, Santa Barbara
$23.50___ Wine Spectator 92 Points Offers grilled pineapple, white peach and lemon blossom notes that are robust and effortless on a sleek, juicy frame, with fresh-cut green apple, tarragon and sea spray emerging on the mouthwatering finish.
Domaine Borgeot Puligny Montrachet Les Meix 2021, Burgundy France
$89.95___ This is single-vineyard Puligny-Montrachet from the Les Meix vineyard, located just below the famed premier cru “Les Pucelles" and very close to the grand cru "Bâtard Montrachet." Handpicked, of course. Vinification is traditional, and the wine is fermented and aged entirely in oak, about 20% new. Miniscule yields combined with the cold temperatures produced elegant wines of modest alcohol and zesty freshness. I found this bottling so exciting in its vibrant acidity and nervy tension- it felt alive in my mouth! The fruit flavors were so fresh, pure and juicy, and the interplay of acidity and oak just felt perfect. The flavors I was reminded of ranged from citrus, poached pear, and white peach to delicious fresh cream, hints of toast, and lots of stone mineral notes. There's a faint hint of savory herbs running through- tarragon maybe? The lifted feeling carries through the looooooooong finish. This will keep getting better for the next 8-10 years.
Domaine de Bernier Chardonnay 2021, France
$12.50___ "This soft wine offers simple apple and apricot flavors. Everything is in balance to give a gentle, smooth wine that is ready to drink."
Dumol Chardonnay Estate 2019, Sonoma Coast
$79.95___ Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points Vinous 94 Points James Suckling 93 Points From Winery Beautifully complex aromas blend vibrant lemon zest and lime juice with fragrant mint and wild sage. There’s an edge of tarragon and oyster shell. The palate is immediately concentrated and creamy with a deep core of oily citrus fruits. Powerful, expansive, and long, this wine has a superb presence that drives on and on. Drink between 2022 and 2028. Serve just below room temperature.
