It is straw yellow in color, with clean, crisp aromas of exotic fruits and ocean-like minerality. The Carnoso’s body opens up on the palate with soft, delicate acidic notes of lemon and citrus that combines into a refreshingly long, well-balanced finish. This style of chardonnay is aged in meticulously hand selected New French Oak making it lighter, and not overly oaky or buttery. This chardonnay would pair perfectly with lighter foods making it a perfect springtime wine.

Marsanne + Roussanne CA - Sonoma County Stonefruit, Quince, Almond, Lemon, and Honeydew Melon 13.9% Meaning “two vines white,” Urban Press 2016 “Due Vigne Bianco” is half Marsanne and half Roussanne grapes from Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley. The antique classroom slate with the Roman numeral II, evokes wood, stone, earthiness. The blend is suggestive of a rich oak Chardonnay that is immediate on the nose and echoed on the palate. Creamy notes of peach and nut add a silky texture to the mouthfeel. Honeydew melon and floral notes play out on the long finish. Though full bodied, it doesn’t have the intense butter of many Chardonnays. It’s a masterclass in white-grape blending.

Grenache Blanc CA - Sonoma County Flavors of citrus, honeysuckle. Because the wine was aged on oak, a delicate note of backed apple is present. 14.2% Powerful, bright aromas of citrus immediately show on the nose of this Urban Press favorite. Light oak softly plays over the palate without completely detracting from the crispness of this wine. Balanced acidity and dry green herbs and dandelion are present in the fresh finish. Try this if you love Sauvignon Blanc and you’ll fall in love.

Sauvignon Blanc CA - Sonoma County - Capay Valley Grapefruit, Herbaceous (Basil), and Peach 14.6% The clean nose on this Sauvignon Blanc shies away from intense, tart citrus and trades it in for cooler, softer notes of ripe grapefruit, nuts, and light basil. Underlying sea salt and light vegetable notes give this wine the perfect balance without overpowering the ripe notes of softer fruit. While pleasingly tart, it leaves out the dry bitter pucker on the finish that is characteristic of many Sauvignon Blancs.

Marsanne CA - Sonoma County - Alexander Valley Stonefruit, Quince, Honeydew Melon, and Lemon 14.7% Subtle notes of crisp white peach and honeydew melon show on the nose. Upon tasting, those notes come to the forefront balanced with light acidity that produces a crisp finish that lingers without overstaying its welcome.

Sauvignon Blanc CA - Sonoma County Grapefruit, Herbaceous (Basil), and Peach 14.1% The clean nose on this Sauvignon Blanc shies away from intense, tart citrus and trades it in for cooler, softer notes of ripe grapefruit, nuts, and light basil. Underlying sea salt and light vegetable notes give this wine balance without overpowering the ripe notes of softer fruit which include peaches. While pleasingly tart, it leaves out the dry bitter pucker on the finish that is characteristic of many Sauvignon Blancs

Marsanne + Grenache Blanc + Viognier CA - Sonoma County Yellow Fruits, Quince, Zesty Citrus, Green Apple, and Fresh Herbs 14.0% “Tutto bianco” means “all white,” but we wanted to buck that trend a bit with the depiction of one black sheep to symbolize originality of one who bucks the trends and makes their own rules. This marriage of Marsanne and Grenache Blanc is straw Yellow in color, giving off fresh floral notes along with an almost sea-salt minerality on the nose. It is lighter and crisp, and full-bodied. The Marsanne delivers the boldness to this wine whereas the Grenache Blanc delivers the aromatic profile. This Varietal is aged in hand selected neutral oak making it soft and supple. Tutto Bianco is bright with low acidity and can be served as an aperitif. It is fleshier, and oilier making it a good alternative to a Sauvignon Blanc.

Fresh floral notes along with an almost sea-salt minerality shine through in the nose. Lighter and crisp, rather than soft and full in body, this wine exhibits zesty citrus on the palate, accompanied by green apple and subtle notes of fresh herbs and green pepper that linger in the finish.

Petit Verdot Rosé CA - Sonoma County Creamy Strawberries, Passion fruit, and Apples 13.67% Translating to “Lady of the night” this rosé is produced in a technique used in Champagne, France (Les Ricey Region). This small production rosé has aged harmoniously and will compliment meals. It is well balanced and light having a rose gold hue. During the 2017 Sonoma County fires, our Petit Verdot grapes had severe smoke taint, almost causing us to trash the grapes. Our winemakers took the skin off and created an outstanding rosé that is incredibly lush and fresh!

Pinot Noir Rosé CA - Sonoma County Light, crisp, and delicate body with notes of passion fruit and grapefruit 14.2% Pinot Noir rosé is typically fruity, fresh and elegant in style, with mild acidity to brace its cherry and light spice flavors.

Cabernet Franc CA - Sonoma County Beautiful flavor of strawberries, mint, and raspberry. Bold aroma of sweet fresh red fruit like raspberry and roasted jalapeño. 15.1% The ’16 Mascherato Cabernet Franc proves precisely why this varietal works so well on its own. Light without being wimpy, this Cab Franc holds its own with slightly spicy, peppery notes of wood, cassis, and cherry. More floral aromas of violet linger under the surface. The finish is pleasingly warm and dry without being obstreperously bone-dry. Tobacco notes lingering with the tart of raspberry round out the finish.

This Pinot Noir loves cooler climates and fresh soils and comes from cool breezes and morning fog in Sonoma. It has high acidity, medium tannins and is light bodied, yet incredibly lush! You get immediate deep red fruit and vanilla on the nose.

Merlot CA - Sonoma County Plums, Blackberries, Cherry, and Vanilla 14.7% Another bewitching varietal named for the Italian word for witch. In years past, the Merlot grape has gotten a bad rap, as have witches. A bare tree, with limbs seeming to dance in all directions against a spare background, symbolizes the mystery and complexity of our Sonoma Merlot. She may beguile and confuse but is never boring. Full-bodied and fruity, this Merlot has rich plumb and tart cherry on the nose. It rolls over the palate with soft tannins and notes of smooth vanilla underlying the long luscious finish.
