Joyous and carefree Sicilian bubbles here... Marco's 'Voria' line up is driven by pure pleasure and refreshment, and boy do they deliver in spades. All from the Catarrato grape, the Voria Bianco is fermented to dry then bottled after 3 months with a little unfermented must, kicking off the secondary fermentation in bottled and creating the raft of gentle, fuzzy bubbles . Released without disgorgement but always super clean and fresh, this frizzante lean into the tropical side of things dried pineapple, pulpy yellow pear, white flowers, lemon zest, and plenty of salinity.

The AA Bruant Natural is a fresh wine from the Domaine Bruant vineyards. It's known for its natural process, with no additives or manipulation. It is aged on its lees between 15 and 24 months and is released on the market without dosage. No sulphites or other products are added throughout the process. Light and fresh on the palate with integrated and persistent bubbles. White fruit and almonds flavors, recalling the perceived aromas.

We're lucky to have snagged a few bottles of this...A complex aromatic palette, with hints of walnuts and spices, this is an oxidative vin de voile wine made in the spirit of a vin jaune from the Jura. Rich and dry, this is an extremely high-class wine! An unbelievable cuvée, unique in the world... 100% Menu Pineau from vines farmed organically and planted on a flinty clay soil. The grapes are late harvested, with ultra low yields of 7 to 12 hl/ha! An unconventional approach to maturation – 120 months in barrels without ouillage, i.e. the custom of topping up the barrels regularly to compensate for the phenomenon of evaporation known as “the angels share”. When a barrel is not topped up for a long time a veil of flor develops on the surface of the wine; the flor is nourished by the wine.

Xarel·lo and red Xarel·lo, two similar but not identical grape varieties, give an unique personality to this wine with fruity aroma, intensity in the mouth, and with a dry but refreshing finish. A new look to the classic Penedès white wine. Xarel.lo and red Xarel.lo (Xarel.lo vermell in Catalan). The red Xarel.lo is a genetic mutation of the Xarel.lo. It is a very rare grape variety (practically defunct). The difference is that it skin is red and thicker with more tannins adding greater aromatic complexity. Tropical fruity notes provided by red Xarel.lo (banana, pineapple), floral notes (orange blossom), citrus notes (grapefruit), on a background of Mediterranean shrub (fennel). Intense mouthfeel with a fresh lingering finish.

The palate combines flavors of tarragon, lemon curd and salted apricot with a savory finish. Richer in style with a bit of body. Domaine Bordes is located in the heart of the AOP Saint-Chinian and managed by Philippe and Emma Bordes. Surrounded by ‘garigue’, the vineyards at Domaine Bordes are isolated and rich in biodiversity. Most of the plots are plowed by horse and the family makes their own compost. They manage low-yields to better allow the vines to create their own immune defense. In the cellar, all operations are scheduled according to the lunar calendar. There is no temperature control, and everything happens naturally without additives with the exception of a small amount of sulfites in order to ensure the stability of the wines over time and travel.

Quinta várzea da pedra is a fourth generation wine farm based in the óbidos sub-region of portugal’s lisboa do. brothers tomas and alberto emidio took control of the 15 hectares of family vineyards and cellar in 2015, and started bottling part of the production, focusing on quality and character. the work in the vineyards is free of chemicals, practicing organic and the harvest is made by hand emphasizing careful handling of grapes which are then fully destemmed, crushed by foot and fermented spontaneously. wines are made with a minimalist approach, so very little so2 and no fining or filtration. wines are primarily made in stainless steel and concrete tanks, and primarily aged in bottle

Coda di Volpe is an indigenous grape from Campania, once mainly used for blending with Greco di Tufo or other more recognized grapes from that area. The vines are grown on vulcanic soils between 400m and 600m above the sea level which gives a characteristic minerality and freshness. The wine is straw-yellow color with golden reflections, fragrant and fresh, the nose reveals intense aromas of wisteria, acacia and ripe white pulp fruit. On the palate it's round thanks to the freshness that makes the drink pleasant and immediate combined to a balanced acidity.

Torre Dei Beati, or Tower of The Blessed, is the estate winery of Fausto and Adriana Albanesi located near the picturesque hilltop village of Loreto Aprutino- which predates even the Romans. The estate's name derives from the steepled 14th-century church that looms beyond the vineyard. Since inheriting 40 acres from her father in 1999, Fausto and Adriana have nurtured the original vines on the property, planted in 1972, while successfully obtaining organic certification. The Pecorino grapes were picked by hand, gently pressed, and the juice was fermented in 100% stainless steel. Six months of aging on the lees results in a wine that is floral on the nose yet round on the palate. Star bright with light gold shades, the wine features aromas of citrus blossom and lavender, rounded by flavors of honey. This roundness is balanced with zesty acidity and minerality.

Winemakers Notes: Marzae Sauvage wines are inspired by the edible flora & fauna of New England. P. strobus (Eastern White Pine) is ubiquitous to Boston area woodlands. We think this wine is just as emblematic of the kinds of wines we can produce unique to our terroir as the white pine is to the local landscape. Like other pine species (and evergreens in general for that matter), P. strobus has a lightly citrusy and aromatic flavor/scent we think is naturally fitting for this slightly aromatic and brilliantly acidic, layered white wine. Bottled unfined & unfiltered. Not cold stabilized. Minimal sulfites added at bottling (28ppm addition to assure shelf stability in compliance with the natural wine app Raisin’s definition “natural white wine” as below 40ppm). Wild yeast fermentation, kickstarted with our 100% Greater Boston Area foraged pied du cuve.

Faced with a disastrous end to the growing season in 2012 and having gambled on leaving almost all his fruit on the vine to produce Sauternes, Daniel had to figure out a creative way to make wine out of partially botrytised grapes basically overnight, because Mother Nature turned her back on him and he had to pick them as they were. They didn’t have the profile of a dry wine or a sweet wine. So he made two different wines to challenge our perceptions of dry and sweet. The aromas here are like nothing you’ve ever experienced. The exotic mango, papaya, coconut, and pineapple introduce a sweet wine—or so you think. However, it turns out to be bone-dry.

This is one of Greece’s most distinctive rosés, made from 100+ year old, self-rooted Liatiko bush vines growing at 800m elevation on the sandy soils of mt Kedros in the Psiloritis mountain range. Giorgos Lyrarakis and Myriam Ampouzer are the winemakers. The hand harvest took place the first week of September. The grapes were slightly pressed at 10 degree Celcius. After the free-run juice settled naturally, the must was pressed and fermented. 13.5% alcohol. The Troupis family established their modern winery in 2010 in the Fteri (“fern”) region in the heart of Mantinia at 700 m elevation. Quite a fascinating wine in terms of how this wine's complexity is achieved: the team does three separate harvests of the Trebbiano, the first when it’s slightly unripe but full of acidity. The final 10% of so is late harvested, and it’s this portion that is deliberately allowed to develop a bit of botrytis. "Geek" wine, and delicious at the same time.

ász Laci's "Setting Sun" is a rare blend of native varietals from Somló: Juhfark, Furmint, Sárfefér, Gohér, Járdovány, Olaszrizling and Zőldszilváni. The grapes were co-planted in a single vineyard on the western slope of Somló, and they were co-fermented. Fermentation was spontaneous with native yeasts in stainless steel tank without temperature control. The wine spent 4 months on the skins and remained on the lees until bottling. Unfiltered and unfined, with low sulfur added. Ripe guava and mango meet dried roses on the nose, with savory citrus, salt, herbs and golden apple on the palate. The 2021 "Megamix Volume 2" is a unique blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay and Muscat, grown in granite and limestone soils and aged one year in neutral barrels. It's light bodied with a vibrant ruby hue and really jumps out of the glass, with the Muscat contributing some interesting herbal and slightly floral aromatics mingling with punchy cherry and pomegranate fruit. It's lively and fresh with racy acidity and just a kiss of tannins, great with a chill and a perfect accompaniment to light snacks. This is a delicious summer red with some nerve - think less "chill lo-fi beats" and more "acid house electro-funk!"

100% Malbec from 50 year old vines, harvested by hand and fermented in 2 concrete tanks. 50% carbonic maceration & 50% de-stemmed grapes. Acid-driven and spicy, with a touch of leather and ripe plum aromas. No filtration nor sulfites added. This wine is an incredible and unique expression of Malbec, Château Lestignac is managed by Camille & Mathias Marquet, a young couple who inherited the family farm in 2008. The farm originally included 17 hectares of vinifera vines, but the Marquets pared the vineyard down to the best sites and introduced a diverse garden and livestock into the mix to develop a true polyculture to complement their conscientious, organic farming style. 2009 was their first vintage under the banner of Lestignac and the couple began to introduce biodynamic farming in 2011. In addition to the vineyard, the farm is home to over 200 fruit trees, 80 chickens, and 20 sheep.

The Cabernet and Montepulciano are harvested separately. Each part will ferment on native yeasts in stainless steel. They practice manual punch down that will allow for the extraction of tannins and help speed along fermentation. From there the wine ages for 12 months in 25 HL Slovenian oak. Equal parts come together at that point and will spend 12 months in bottle before release. Dark ruby red, the nose expresses notes of plum, cinchona, liquorice and spices. Soft, long and harmonious on the palate, it closes with a clean and persistent finish.

A brand new wine for Jolie-Laide, several years in the making. This is a new planting at an exciting vineyard in Sonoma County of heightened exposure to the elements and complex Franciscan soils. The superlative nature of this site is transparent in the depth and intensity of this wine. An ancient variety hailing from the mountainous alpine Savoie region, East of Burgundy in France. A distant relative, Mondeuse can share some of the more feral, floral, spice and game elements we adore in Syrah but with a more cranberry brightness. It carries acid and tannin in spades so while this wine is thoroughly enjoyable now it will definitely transform into greatness with some time; patience will be rewarded. Crushed by foot and naturally fermented all whole cluster and aged in neutral barrique. Inky in color with an electric fuchsia meniscus. Red currant, smoky white pepper, camphor and floral violet aromatics. The palate is firm and structured with fine tannin and bright acidity.

In 2023, Chappaz might have had the quietest 100 point wine in history. "The first 100 pointer in Switzerland since William Tell,” quipped Stephen Reinhardt at robertparker.com. In 2022 Chappaz was named Swiss Winemaker of the Year. Six years previous, Gault-Millau designated the estate one of the World's Top 100 Wineries. Perhaps it is the challenging territory. The team of nine tends to 11 biodynamic hectares on severely sloping aspects in and surrounding the villages of Fully, Charrat, Leytron, and Chamoson. Many of the plots are only accessible on foot. Or it might be the scarcity. Although the Valais is the most prolific region in the nation, Switzerland exports just 1% of its wine production. Chappaz produces close to 20 cuvées, so each label is quite limited. The total of all Swiss wines exported to the U.S. at around 10,000 bottles/year. The estate is now in its fourth decade of biodynamics, the wines are made with indigenous yeast and bottled without filtering.
